Thames Access Points (TAPs)
Welcome to the TAP website.
The Thames Access Point (TAP) concept originated in the Thames Waterway Plan. TAPs are all about making the River Thames easier to find and easier to enjoy.
At its simplest, a TAP is a recognisable location, well signed and clearly indicated on maps, where visitors may find easy access to the river and its amenities.
